area of medicine contains more witch craft then any other area of practice.
One has only to witness the enormous number of weight loss programs for humans
being advertised to see that the diet food business is big business.
And
yet if one tries to look at these diets with a logical and scientific mind one
will be disappointed in the logic behind the diets.
Obviously
there is more to nutrition than the control of weight. However, I personally
look with a jaundice eye towards every claim made by every food company be
they human or animal food producers.
We
at Ark Animal Hospital will try to separate fact from fiction and direct you
toward the best diet for your pet.
Just remember that dogs, cats, and humans, are all animals and that food is food, and in a pinch we could all eat each others food. However, obviously there are different needs between species, and within species certain problems dictate certain food changes.
