Internal Medicine

 

Internal medicine in the human field is a specialty unto itself. In veterinary medicine it is also a specialty. But general practioners of veterinary medicine probably practice more internal medicine than the general practioners in the human field. The use of radiology, and laboratory become extra important when trying to diagnose the problems of patients who cannot tell us where they hurt.

At the Ark Animal Hospital when we feel that we are not progressing in our treatment as we wish, we will refer to a specialist of the problem we are trying to solve.
